Confirm the room format
Check whether the room has two or four players, how the match ends and whether it uses a classic, quick or points format. The label alone is not enough; open the specific room rules.
Use the timer as information
The timer shows how long an action remains available. Expiry may cause an automatic move, skipped turn or another result. Review all legal pieces before acting, but avoid repeated taps near the end of the timer.
Understand safe squares and capture
A marked square may protect a piece, while home paths and blocks can follow separate conditions. Do not assume that every star or colour behaves like a family board rule. Read the mobile room definition.
Plan for connection loss
Check battery, network stability and reconnect behaviour before starting a long match. If the connection drops, wait for the visible state to update instead of sending the same action repeatedly.
