Start with the hand ranking
A common order includes trail, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair and high card. Exact names and tie rules can vary, so the ranking published on the current table remains the final reference. Practise by classifying sample hands on paper instead of trying to predict the next cards.
Blind and seen are control states
Blind means acting without viewing the cards, while seen means acting after viewing them. The required amount and available actions may change. Before pressing a button, confirm the current state, displayed amount and remaining timer together.
Read the table variation
Sideshow, pack rules, boot values and action limits are not universal. Open the rule panel before entry and confirm when a round locks. A familiar game name does not prove that every room uses the same settings.
Protect the session limit
Set maximum time and entertainment spend before the first hand. A loss is not a reason to increase the next action. Repeated rushed decisions, irritation or a desire to recover the previous result are clear reasons to pause.
